Carter Hargrave is not only a teacher but is also a best selling international author. His best selling Original Jeet Kune Do Training Manual is the number one selling JKD book after the books by Bruce Lee himself. Through his media companies (Combat Martial Arts Press and now Hargrave Media) Carter Hargrave has sold over one hundred thousand copies worldwide of his films and martial arts books.

His Kempo books include The Japanese Kempo Training Manual and the Japanese Kempo Training Manual Entrance to Secrets. These books are the basis for American Combat Kempo.

His Kempo films include The Japanese Kempo Training Series of nine films on American Kempo and the Jeet Kune Do Film series of eleven films on the art of Jeet Kune Do which was founded by Bruce Lee.
